November Historical Release!

This month could well be the last medieval pack in the Historical release stream! This month's figures are a set of 12 personalities, this pack derived from folks in our Discord play testing Greathelm, a new small scale 6v6 miniatures game that just wrapped up on kickstarter! Despite being named greathelm the rules feature equipment options to represent other armour sets and weapons, so with the blessing of the Games designer. I took the opportunity to do some figures with the game in mind, go a little bit looser on the more serious historical tone and have some fun with the poses, referencing movie scenes and other emoting poses

The first kit this month is 2 later 14th century knights Halfswording, these had been requested for ages and when we started talking about doing the figures aimed around GH these were brought up again, and made plenty sense to do, i opted to do these models in a later appearance then the rest of the range because it is described as a 14th-16th century technique,

The next knight pack are 2 in the earlier style, the knight knight drawing his word after taking his scabbard off was meant to be reminiscent of jon snow in the battle of the bastards, while the other is simply lifting his visor for a better look at something,

The next pack are the 4 men at arms, these models will fit in with all our other men at arms kits and just be a cool point of focus in a big regiment, my favourite of the bunch is the simple one just cracking his knuckles looking menacing, but another reference is loosely the gladiator scene, “are you not entertained”

The last pack is the range units pack, there's 2 archers and 2 crossbowmen, same deal as the men at arms will slot in nicely with the 13th and 14th century packs(bar the one with the basinet) the model firing the crossbow’s reference is the “say hello to my little friend” from Scarface
