November Fantasy Release!

In this post i've got the November fantasy release to go over! This months figures are a couple of new dwarf packs, these figures will all be available to download on the 5th of the month as per usual through myminifactory/patreon

The first pack is a big pack of 8 figures! This pack of Dwarven barbarians is one that's been in my head for a couple of years and just got around to making, these guys are dressed up for cold weather(for the most part) with bear skins, thick furry tunics and bunch of different Travel pack accessories, when making these guys the sort of backstory i was envisioning for them was as if troll hunting in the snow was an “extreme sport” to go out alone in the snow with 2 axes, and come back with a troll, and you've got 1 guy of the group who thinks he's tough to go out shirtless, another who wears a bear head as a disguise, and another who's a former soldier wearing what remains of his old armour. Another good thing about these figures is if for whatever reason you wanted more then 8, they will mirror really well because there's nothing about them that makes them work in only 1 orientation

The next pack of figures is 4 dwarf warriors in heavy armour with pavises, this pack is intended to accompany the prior spearman. These figures are armoured like the rest of the Sapphire ridges dwarves but in longer chain coats, longer padded coats too, and a full head coif over their face and beard, the shields for these guys i opted to make a later period pavise, but i have trimmed it and embossed them with the same motifs on the round shields, it's a bit of a historical juxtaposition to see dark age inspired troops with pavises, but i still intend to paint mine in the same split colours as i have my normal warriors, the shields are ofcourse separate so your welcome to swap them out for a big ironshield if you like, i would be interested in doing a 2nd version of these guys with pavise and spears down the line,

The last pack this month is a remastered ballista and 2 new crew, this ballista shares some DNA with the old dwarven ballista from 2022, the old design had 4 bow limbs i slightly updated the base and middle hinge piece, the old 4 bow limbs would fit on these btw, but i opted to tame and update the bow arms to be a bit more down to earth, with the ballista is 2 new crew,

I've been working on some other dwarven concepts, so we have just done steppes themed dwarves, now barbarian, and ofcourse have the old eastern dwarves aswell, i want to continue to push into new dwarven themed in the next couple of months because the eventual goal is to have 7 houses of dwarves all represented with distinct cultures, am open to suggestions if theres any you have in mind i havent mentioned yet!
