March Tribes/Patreon Release!

For those who missed the March Release post, check it out down below!

Today I've got the preview posts for the March releases! (somehow it is already March??) going to cover both the Historicals and fantasy in this post! These figures will be available to Download on the 5th of the month as per usual!

So for fantasy this month there's a couple different pieces, so starting with the Elf mage and dwarven loremaster, these 2 are some general characters to fit into the different lines we have already, and could be used as mages or NPC’s both, with the elven mage in particular i intentionally tried to break away from my existing elves, hence sandals, open vest, while the dwarf bears some resemble to a older one i had done and was fond off, so hes gotten a facelift and new pose!

The next Dwarf in this pack is the GA dwarf king! (He really shouldn't have taken as long as he did to come out, that range of dwarves was done in 2023), he has the biggest and widest beard of all his kin, a thicker beefier helmet with a boar themed face plate, a chunky spiked mattock, and his armour is somewhat similar to the other dwarves but his coat of scales runs almost to his feet, and he's got them over his shoulders too, dunno if it'll happen but i was thinking about doing a body guard unit to go with him with similar boar themed helmets

The bigger pack of figures this month are the 3 sets of goblins, goblins will be the next range we transition into, still more dwarves to go but as ive always said its going to be a soft transition, i usually do packs of 4-6 models, for the goblin infantry i opted to go for 3s, reason being is i expect to make several packs of infantry, so these sets are all broadly similar, i foresee doing another set all in furs, or all in longer robes & hoods, for example, and just explore all the different styles,

The goblins were particularly tricky and with these i think i played it safe, you see can see how they fit into the orc range, ive always subscribed to the idea goblin is the term for smaller sneakier orcs, so these ones have kept that generic dark age fantasy theme,

And lastly the 2 historical kits this month are more in the updated Saxon line, 6 Huscarls w/ 2 handed Axes & shield, and 6 Armoured spearman, these figures are all intended to be used as Hearthguard or at the very least Heavier armoured warriors, they have a mix of clokes/no cloaks, and one with furs each, and are all generally armed with a Sword and and seax on there hip,

Next up for historicals i was gonna do armoured warriors with hand weapons pretty certainly, nothing set in stone for the 2nd pack, for i think ill do some goblin commanders, but now this king is done were really winding down on Dwarves, so last call for dwarf suggestions i guess before its all goblin time
